Why is it so hard to get a french bulldog? It took me ten years from the time I first saw one and fell in love with it. I followed that cream dog and the owner around for an hour. I had to have a powerful,sturdy and frankly muscular french bully. So I did some reseach.
That was a lot of research... in books and on the net. I went to dog shows and saw people finishing dogs and still I kept looking. (By the way you want to talk to a handler after the show). I went to breeder's homes and sometimes met them somewhere besides their homes, (frenchies are rare and dogs have been stolen from back yards!) Someone tried to take some dogs out of a fenced area with a net. The next morning the breeder saw all of her dogs and the CHEWED UP NET IN THE BACK YARD.

BREEDERS GET HUNDREDS OF PHONE CALLS FOR PEOPLE LOOKING FOR FRENCHIES.SO IF YOU GET A NEUTRAL FEELING IT IS BECAUSE THEY GET SO MANY CALLS FROM PEOPLE THAT HAVE NO IDEA OF THE CARE IT TAKES FOR THE BREED OR THE COST OF THIS RARE BREED AND THOSE PEOPLE NEVER CALL BACK.
